Italian astrophysicist Dr. Fiorella Terenzi earned fame when she developed a process for transforming radiowaves from distant galaxies into sound. Captured on the 1991 Island Records release Music from the Galaxies, Terenzi achieved the quintessential "Space" record. She went on to collaborate with Thomas Dolby and to author books.
