Singer Chad Kroeger became best known for fronting the grunge band Nickelback. Starting their way in Hanna, Alberta, Nickelback moved to Vancouver to record their albums and broke internationally with the release of their hit “How You Remind Me”, establishing Kroeger as a prominent figure on the indie scene. A second smash hit for him came in the form of a duet with Saliva singer Josey Scott when it appeared in the Spider Man movie soundtrack in 2002. He went on to produce Theory of a Deadman’s debut and to appear on Santana’s “Shaman” later in the year.
