Album Review

Cut off from his homeland, Jobim created this passionate, lyrical and experimental ode to a Brazil he created in his mind. Kicked off by the incredible "Boto," the first side features jazz, bossa, and folk infused songs backed by consistently creative arrangements. On the second half, the composer stretches out with modern classical compositions.
